Hammerhead Shark

Entering the deep abyss; a portal of sorts into another dimension, certainly you know of what I am referring to. No, not exactly synonymous with the twilight zone, although it may seem as such, what with all of the odd creatures that inhabit the seas. Certainly, one may feel as if they are indeed in another world, as they explore the great oceans. What with creatures such as Dragonfish, Viperfish, Deep Sea Angler’s, the Giant rattail, but alas, I shall not go into too much detail, you can look for yourself with amazement in the strange creatures page.

It is imperative to say that the very creature that is featured on this website belongs in a category of animals most feared: the Sharks. They have been objects of terror for centuries, yet they inspire in us excitement and we continue to venture into the depths in search of them. They are difficult animals to study; many details of their lives still remain a mystery to this day.
Their strange characteristics however are beginning to unravel. As scientists continue to explore the oceans. They have discovered approximately 344 known species of shark, the one we will be focusing on is the Hammerhead shark. Pretty soon, you’ll see just why this shark is so well acclaimed and just why it’s so... Well weird. Certainly of all of the shark species that exist, hammerheads are the most easily recognizable. While this is true, its nice to know a little bit more about them, other than the fact that they have a huge gaping head.

They may not be the prettiest of shark species, and heck they may not even be the nicest, but they certainly are one of a kind. Thus I conclude by saying that you would be well advised to continue reading through these pages, in an effort to learn more about the gallant Hammerhead.
